FAQ

What counts as an active sender?

Anyone in your org who sent at least one document this billing month. Recipients sign for free, always.

Is the free plan permanently free?

Yes. Five documents a month is plenty for personal use, and we'd rather have you using us than gating you behind a paywall on day one.

What does end-to-end encryption mean here?

In E2EE mode, the document is encrypted in your browser before upload. We hold ciphertext only — even a court order can't unlock it. Standard mode is still encrypted at rest, but with a key we hold so we can support things like sender-side preview and recovery.

Do sealed documents stop verifying if Authii goes away?

No. The sealed PDF carries every signature, every certificate, and every timestamp inside it. Any PDF reader that supports PAdES — including Adobe Acrobat — can verify it offline, in any year.
